1. Collection of information
Fyntrivia.com gathers only the data required to deliver and improve the service. This includes technical information such as browser type, device model, approximate location (region and city level), and anonymised usage statistics. If a player chooses to create an account or subscribe to a newsletter, the site may also process basic details like email address and display name.
2. Use of personal data
Collected data is used to maintain smooth operation of browser games, improve load times, secure the platform, and ensure appropriate game recommendations. Email addresses are processed solely for communications explicitly requested by the user, such as updates or support replies. No profiling or marketing occurs without express consent.
3. Sharing with third parties
Personal data is never sold. Limited information may be shared with trusted partners who provide hosting, analytics, or content delivery services, but always under contractual safeguards that comply with the Règlement Général sur la Protection des Données (RGPD). These partners cannot use the data for their own purposes.
4. Data storage and security
Information is stored on secure servers located within the European Union. Encryption, access control, and routine audits are applied to reduce risk of unauthorised access or misuse. Retention is limited: analytics data is kept for up to 24 months, while support correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve the request.
5. User rights in France
In accordance with the RGPD and French law (Loi Informatique et Libertés), every user has the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of their personal data. Requests can also be made to transfer data to another provider or to object to specific processing operations. These rights can be exercised at any time by contacting Fyntrivia directly (see below).
6. Contact and complaints
For all privacy matters, users in France may write to Fyntrivia at the contact details below. If a resolution cannot be reached, players also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the French supervisory authority for data protection.
